One, Two, Free......Jump!

This is what Crewsie loves to do off of Yaya and Popa's boat...jump, jump, jump!  We have still been keeping busy.  Last week we had dinner at Aunt Taytay's to celebrate Father's Day...Friday Crewsie and I met my friend Emily and Cash (her 9 month old!) for lunch at Panera's...Saturday was our 6 year anniversary!  so Greggy and I went out for dinner to celebrate (together 13.5 years, married for 6... and have a 2 yr. old...where does the time go!?!?)  Sunday we went out to the boat...Monday Tay, Mom, Crew and I went to Loyal Oak to swim...and Monday night I met some girls for dinner out at the lake!  We are having a FABULOUS summer :)

There are so many pretty homes on Portage Lake, but these are just a few of the ones I like...

One...Two...Free...JUMP!  And usually he pops right back up on the boat, spins around and says "Two...Free!" and jumps back in!

Off to the zoo with Aunt Taytay...

Tatie and I took Crewsie to the Akron Zoo this week.  He absolutely loves running around and looking at all of the animals.  He also loves the play areas and especially the carousel and train!  It is always a fun time at the zoo and Crew is always worn out by the time we leave...he falls asleep about 2 minutes after we get in the car and then I can normally count on about a FOUR hour nap!  haha!

Tay and I were looking at the deer above and when we turned around Crew was behind us sticking his face and finger right up to the glass of the leopard cage.  The leopard was literally two inches from the glass staring at Crew...kinda freaked us out!

As much as we have been to this zoo there is always one area that I have never seen and the gardens were one of them.  Crewsie's favorite part were the water fountains!

Momma Bear and her baby bear!  I bought a new book on vacation called "Bear of my Heart" and it has become our favorite new book.  One of Crewsie's nick names is "Crew Bear" and the story is adorable!

There are so many bears in the world dear,

but there's no other one that will do.

You are the bear of my heart, dear,

and I am the one who loves you!

This is just one of the little lines from the book...I just LOVE it and recommend it!  It brings tears to my eyes sometimes when I'm reading it and Crew will finish the lines...so precious!

Blue Tip Parade!

Tuesday night was the big Blue Tip Parade!  It was the first time I had to been to the parade in years and it was Crewsie's first time to the parade (technically his second parade).  We went with Yaya and my friend Deb and her kids (Larken and Lachlan) and Aunt Casey and her neices (Natalia and Olivia).  It was hot and muggy, but we had a great time!  The kids absolutely loved it...especially the candy...not so much the LOUD fire trucks!  haha!  Crew came home and kept telling Daddy that the "Trucks were LOUD!"
