Sunny days!

Thank goodness we have been having some better weather lately!  April is ususally a beautiful month, but this year it has been HORRENDOUS!  Spring could not come fast enough for this Momma!  Anyway, I'm not going to complain any more about a little rain after seeing what the tornadoes in the south have demolished the last couple of days.  I will take a little rain any day after seeing what all those poor people have gone through.   So here are some pics from our sunny days this week...

Easter Weekend!

We had a wonderful and relaxing Easter weekend!  It started off Friday night at Yaya and Popa's...we have dyed eggs every year since I can remember and I love continuing the tradition with Crew!  He colored eggs last year, but this year he really enjoyed it being a little older.  He sat with his little apron on and painted and dipped some eggs until he finally got bored and wanted to eat some more Easter candy!  I think we colored about 4 1/2 dozen of eggs total!  Saturday we enjoyed the morning outside (since we finally got a little break in the weather...YAY!) and that night we had dinner with Greg's family.  Sunday we had brunch at my parents house and had a little birthday celebration for me (I turned 30!).

Momma opening up some bday gifts!  Yaya and Popa got me some new shoes, purse, trench coat...and from everyone I got Jimmy Buffett tickets!  I was so bummed when I tried to get some last month and some how managed to get shut out, so I am SOOOOO excited that I get to go this summer!

An uneventful week...

We haven't done much with our playgroups the last couple of weeks because I have been so scared of the sickness going around!  Crew was sick with a virus at the beginning of March, got over that and ended up with another cold (not as bad as the virus, but it seriously lingered for three weeks!).  Just a runny nose and a cough, but otherwise, feeling good.  His runny nose finally dried up, but now I have been a little paranoid and that is why we have been absent from the playgroups, library, Romp n' Stomp, etc.  Also, our Spring has been the WORST that I can ever remember...cold and rainy...YUCK!  It has to be the worst Spring ever on record!  We have had a few nice warm, sunny days and we have gotten out and enjoyed every one of them...but OH MY GOODNESS please send some nice days our way!  I'm trying to stay positive, but it's hard when it looks sooooo gloomy outside!  Thank goodness I have Crewsie to spend my days with :)

 His new favorite...POPCORN!  We closesly monitor him as he is eating it because I know it is a choking hazard...but he loves it...plus its healthy snack!

Tiki...such a cuddle bug!  Tiki sleeps at my back every night and Mazi sleeps at the top of Greg's head...they are so funny!  No wonder we wake up some mornings with a sore neck!

My little Mazi is getting so gray...they will be seven this year!
