"Ya's birfday!"

It was Yaya's 54 birthday for the third year in a row on Septempber 6!  Hahahaha!  We swear every year she claims it's her 54 birthday again, but she is really 57 years young!  Popa sometimes tell Crewsie to yell "Ya!" instead of Yaya...it's pretty funny!  Anyway, we all got together to celebrate Mom's birthday this week at their house...Aunt Taytay made two DELICIOUS lasagnas and homemade tiramisu!!!!  YUMMY!!!  Mommy got the easy stuff and did salad and bread...I can cook, but Aunt Taytay can really cook (like my Mom)!

Greggy brought me home flowers Friday evening...I had share because they were so pretty!

Crew's first day of "peeschool!"...aka: Mommy-and-Me Preschool

Our little man started preschool yesterday!!!  Technically it is Mommy-and-Me preschool...every Thursday from 9:30 - 11:00 a.m.  There are 8 little kiddos in his class...3 girls, 5 boys!  Mrs. Virgin is his teacher and I can tell he really likes her already...she is very sweet and great with the kids.  Each class consists of a little free play time, songs, snack time, color of the day, shape of the day, Spanish word for the day, number of the day and then she incorporates all of that into stations where the kids paint, play with playdough, art project, etc.  The Mommy's just kind of sit back and watch the kids interact...it is a great way to introduce the kids into a classroom eenvironment and getting them to listen and follow instructions from someone else besides their Mommas!  Crew loved it and can't wait to go back next week!

I actually remembered this year to take "before" and "after" pics of some of our flowers to see how big they really get...and they are still growing!

And a couple of the house before everything starts to turn brown...hopefully not for a little while longer!  Everything has stayed so nice and green this summer!

Wheatley Wedding...

Last Friday night my entire family attended Amber and Ricky's wedding!  Amber is Aunt Taytay's very good friend from the time they were little...and Aunt Tay was a bridesmaid!  It was a beautiful evening and we all
had fun!

Some new tunes and phone pics...

Crewsie loves music...and LOVES dancing to music...so I put some of our favorite new songs on the blog!  So turn your volume UP!!!!  We love the new Pitbull song "Everything" and of course Bruno's new song with Eminem "Lighters."  I can only listen to Eminem, Jay-Z, Pitbull and maybe a few other rappers, but that's it...usually I hate it...but these songs are good!  The Florence and the Machine song is pretty good too...and I know everyone likes her, but I have been loving Adele...that girl can SING!!!  She is seriously so good!  I taped the MTV VMA's and almost all of these guys were there and Crew loves when the people are "live!"

Different subject...I try to take at least one pic everyday of Crewsie and text it to Daddy...so here are a few of the pics lately.  I love the pics of Crew in the morning...he is always so cuddly and warm!  We also visited Daddy at work the other week!

The above pic was today at Burger King.  We went to Crew's preschool open house and then he wanted to go to the playground...well, it was a little wet from the rain last night so the indoor playground was the next best thing!  By the way, he LOVED his teacher and classroom!

And the below pic is from Aug. 27th at the Pine Tree Barn.  Me, my mom and sister love going to this place!  It is definitely a "girly" place and the food is so good!  It has an awesome store filled with furniture, Christmas items and all kinds of different stuff!  And in the winter they have horse and carriage rides and then you can cut down your own Christmas tree!
