Christmas Outtakes!

OH MY!  Is all I can say about trying to take a "posed" picture of Crewsie these days!  First, we tried a little photo shoot at home and it went okay...then I tried to get them professionally done and it was worse!  Not that he acts bad, but he just doesn't want to cooperate and sit still!  We must have taken 50 pictures at home, so I wanted to show some of the outtakes and some of the good ones!  All in all I think we got a couple cute pics (after I cropped them down and did some other little adjustments) and I already ordered my Christmas cards, so there is no going back now!  I guess this is what happen when you try to "control" a 20 month old!!!

A VERY Thankful Thanksgiving!

Crewsie eating his SECOND Thanksgiving turkey meal yesterday!  He ate a few bites of everything...turkey, mashed taties, green beans, stuffing, and sweet potatoes...and of course, he had no problem with the peanut butter pie!  YUMMY!

Thanksgiving eve it is tradtion that we hang out at my parents house while we "help" Mom make all of her yummy pies...honestly, we mainly drink and eat and Wii bowl...but Mom appreciates the thought...haha!  Thanksgiving Day we always split our time between both of our families and always have a lot of fun!  Although, we missed Uncle Dave and Gram and Popsie Cooper this year!

 Ok, I really did help Mom with the pies and they were DELICIOUS!  She makes homemade everything...pecan, pumpkin, cocount cream, peanut butter cream...all wonderful!

 Wii bowling...a newer family tradition and very fun...and very competitive if Uncle Blake is playing...ha!

Jingle Bell Jaunt and Christmas Walk...

We started off the Christmas season with a wonderful fun-filled weekend!  Saturday was the Jingle Bell Jaunt downtown Wadsworth...it is a little parade with the highschool band playing Christmas songs and Santa even arrived at the end with his horses!  It was Crew's first parade and he seemed to really enjoy it!  Saturday night was the Medina Christmas walk...and it is a family tradition that we go every year!  We ate at Sully's and then walked around to the different shops.  We had a great weekend and can't wait to celebrate Thanksgiving with our families this week!

A Very Merry Mickey Christmas...

I have a feeling it is going to be a Mickey Christmas because my little man LOVES Mickey Mouse!  Mickey Mouse Clubhouse is the only little kid show he pays attention to...when the music comes on and he hears Mickey talking he gets SOOOOO excited!  He loves Tootles (if anyone has watched it you know who Tootles is!) and he loves the "Hot Dog Dance!"  Oh goodness is it funny when he really gets dancing! 

Anyway, so I was at the store and saw a set of Mickey pajamas and of course had to get them (and by the way these are 3T p.j.'s and honestly he fills them out and I really think I should have gotten the 4T!?).  The other day he saw them and dragged them all around the house...when it came time for bath time we tried to take them from him and it was an all out tantrum!  He can actually wear them now that it is cold enough!

 He loves both Tiki and Mazi...but Mazi is especially tolerant and he can't get enough of her!  He always wants to pick her up and hug her!

 We dressed Mazi up this morning in ther pajamas and Crew thought it was so funny!

This weekend we are so excited to start some of our fun Christmas activities!  The Jingle Bell Jaunt is tomorrow morning downtown Wadsworth and then the Christmas Walk is tomorrow night in Medina!

Gearing up for Winter!

I finally found Crew's winter gear!  I don't want to start complaining, but there are NO cute choices for boys coats...they are all the usual black, brown, blah, blah stuff!  Anyway, when my Momma and I found this coat the other day I knew I loved it!  I love the color and fur around the collar...he just looks like a little snow bunny!  Then we found the hat and it was PERFECT!  Love it and can't get enough of it...I want to secretly wear it on him all of the time because he looks so damn cute in it!  Anyway, then I found his little boots and snow pants and the outfit is complete!  Daddy now thinks that Crew is ready to go skiing...we actually looked it up on YouTube and there are quite a few kids younger then him skiing...so I guess it is a possiblity!?!?  My family has so many great memories of skiing...my Popsie got us into it from the time we were all pretty little...hopefully we will start the tradition again soon...I miss our ski trips!
