June 25 th was our official 9 year anniversary but we celebrated the Saturday before with a sail on the boat. We've been together almost 17 years...how is this possible because I still feel like I'm 22!!! Anyway, it was the first time I left Capri for longer than two hours. She did great, and wow, did it feel good to get an extended break after 18 months! Haha! We sailed to Kelley's Island for the day and we were home by 8:30...just in time to put Crewsie down to bed :)
I felt so light weight that day not carrying around a diaper bag, sippy cups, etc.! I sat back and was able to relax with Greggy :)
We talk off from our marina (Battery Park) and eased to Kelley's...we passed the Marblehead lighthouse on our way there!
It was about a 2 hour sail and was gorgeous!
Our golf cart ride from our boat to the front of the marina on Kelley's...then it was a short walk to downtown for lunch and drinks!

Such a great boat that we bought three years ago after selling our wooden folkboat. It's a 27' Catalina and we love it......Crew's Ship :)
