Celebrating Popsie's 79th birthday!

We were so happy to celebrate Popsie's 79th  birthday last wednesday night!  Gram and Pops drove over and met us at the boat....it was actually their first time riding on the new boat!  We all took a nice little ride on the lake and then ate at Dietz's for dinner!  Mom had bought a banana cake for dessert and it was delicious!  During dinner Crew kept asking for cake....just like his Mommy!  haha!

Crew's new thing is catching lightning bugs!  After we got home from the lake that night he drove around in his tractor looking for them.  He will see one light up and yell "I see one!" then run over and try to catch it with his net and then yells "I got one!"

Amber's Bridal Shower

 One of my sister's good friend celebrated her upcoming wedding with her bridal shower a couple of weeks ago.  My entire family has known Amber from the time they were kids and we were happy to celebrate with her too!  Above:  Tay, Amber, and another one of Tay's best friends, Sheena

Putt-Putt time!

Last week me, Greggy, Crew and Grammy went to Rinky Dink for a little putt-putt and bumper boat fun!  First, we ate at this Mexican restaurant that Greggy and I love...and Crewsie likes the chips and salsa!  Crew's version of putt-putt is pretty funny...the first couple of holes he actually tries to hit the ball and then it turns into throwing the ball down the course or just running up and throwing the ball in the hole...either way, he has lots of fun and that's all that matters!  It was his first time in a bumper boat and he loved that too!

The below pics were from this weekend one night.  Daddy and Crew were playing castaway.  They were pretending the ball pit was a boat...Crew kept saying "Quick, Daddy get in the boat...big wave coming!"   Then Crew kept telling Tiki to get in the "boat!"   All Crew wants to do is play this game now!
