8 months old already?!??

How can my second born baby be 8 months old?!?!  I will never understand the concept of time and how it slips by so quickly. I love watching my children grow, but wish I could slow it down.  I mean Crew is already 4.5 years old???  How did that happen?  I feel like he was just 8 months old!

Anyway, Capri or PriPri, as Aunt Taytay nicknamed her, is growing like a little pretty weed.  She is crawling, babbling, pulling herself up, and eating like a little piggy. The first time she pulled herself up was in a shopping cart in Old Navy...such a stinker!  I put her on the scale the other day and she was over 19 pounds. We will know her exact weight and height at the doc next month for her 9 month check up.

She is such a messy eater compared to Crew!  And as soon as food is set down in front of anyway she starts whining for it...I don't ever remember Crewsie doing this!  Capri is nursing about 6 times per day. She Definitely does not nurse as much or for long as Crew did. And still will not take a bottle, but I honestly gave up months ago!

Her and Crew continue their love with one another. She gets his first kiss and hug every morning :)  She is on an awesome schedule.  Goes to bed  between 8-9 and wakes up about 7:30-8:30.  Then goes back down around 10:30 and sleeps 2-3 hours.  She goes back down for an afternoon nap around 3 or 4 and sleeps for 1.5-2 hours.  I really make an effort to be home so she can sleep, because I feel it's so important for her.

The little stinker has four teeth. Two bottom came in first and then her two top ones came through recently.  One last week and one this week!  Her first bottom tooth was the worst for her and the subsequent ones haven't been bad. I give her a little Motrin and she seems fine and has been sleeping well.  And she doesn't drool!  Which is crazy because crew drooled quite a bit when he teethed.

We recently joined the new YMCA in town and we signed her up for swim lessons!  She starts next Tuesday :).

It has been such a memorable, funny and wonderful eight months watching you grow, Peanut!  We love you :)
