Hyper "Jingle Bells"...

The other week I bought Crewsie a sing-a-long Christmas c.d....and he loves it!  His favorite is Jingle Bells and he knows all of the words and normally sings a long.  Last night I thought I would record him singing...he was a little hyper after dinner and this is what it sounded like!!!

Mommy and Me...

Everyday is Mommy and Me day and I.LOVE.IT...but somedays are just extra special...this day was one of those days.  I can't tell you why, but they just are for some reason.  There are certain times when I just stop and try to soak in every second and try to in-grain it into my memory.  I think to myself "Remember these moments, remember these moments."  Crewsie seems like he is growing up so very fast and sometimes it makes me kinda sad.  I cherish that I am able to stay home with him because it is such a precious time in our lives.  He is such a big boy and such a sweet boy and I love being his Mommy.
Loves kicking the soccer ball!
And mowing the grass!
And running Mommy over with the lawn mower!

He likes to collect sticks and then break them apart...

My little bubba....I love you bubs!

Halloween!

We had sooooo much fun on Halloween this year!  Crewsie loved dressing up like a clown and so did Momma!  He was so good and patient as I put his make-up on (again!) and was great about wearing his wig.  We have a little Halloween party every year at our house on Trick-or-Treat night (which is almost always on Oct. 31st).  Every year on Halloween it was tradition that my Mom made Ham-BBQ sandwiches, so that is what we still have! Trick-or-Treat was from 6-8 p.m. and as soon as the clock struck six we were out the door.  Larken and Lachlan came with us again this year and all the kiddos had a fun time!

My cute little clown!  Okay, so I know I look totally ridiculous (as my husband kept telling me!), but Crewsie loved it and that's all that matters!  haha!

Missing from the pic:  Deb, Lark and Lach, Aunt Casey, Grandma and Grandpa.

Crewsie loved helping Momma decorate the house!  He also helped me make the sugar cookes and pumpkin cookies!
The goodies...
Lachlan, Crew, and Larken before trick-or-treat!

The kids rode in style...Crew and Larken in the wagon and Lachlan in the jogging stroller!

Someone tried to give Aunt Casey candy...hahahaaaa!

Uncle Blake being goofy (as usual!)...
Daddy was the chauffeur...
Deb and Lach!

I was trying to get a pic of the Halloween moon!
The kids did awesome and we hit a lot of houses!  Towards the end the sugar was kicking in and Crewsie was getting CRAZY!  He was running to each house and squealing!!!  It was hysterical and I'm glad he had so much fun!

Dinner time!
I'm laughing because you might notice that Crew was double fisting suckers at this point!  I can't even tell you how much candy he must have eaten that night!  The candy fairy came the next day and took almost all of it away.  I know it sounds mean, but if junk is in the house he begs for it, so that's why we get rid of it!

Hope everyone had a fun Halloween!

Pre Halloween Festivities...

This weekend we were busy getting ready for our little Halloween party on Monday!  We ended the weekend by carving our pumpkins Sunday night!  I have carved a pumpkin every year since I can remember...even when I didn't have a little one I always made an effort to carve my own.  I know some people don't get into Halloween, but I love it!  My parents always had a great time at Halloween and always put a lot of effort into our costumes, etc.  My Pops and Gram also always made it a fun holiday for us.  They always had these awesome Halloween parties for all of the grandkids...we absolutely LOVED it!  EVERYONE in the family would dress up...we have tons of great pictures and videos from those parties.  Gram would even make her own chocolates and we would play games and have a treasure hunt.  I like to think that I'm keeping the tradition alive in our house too!

Daddy and Crewsie were too busy to look up for the pic!  haha!
Yaya helping scrape out the seeds!

All done!

I always roast the pumpkin seeds too!  Yummy!
And a few from Friday night...we stayed in and Crewsie and I made homemade pizzas!
Helping Momma make the pizza dough!
We made two pizzas, but this one we made with sauerkraut on top!  There is a place in Sandusky where we used to keep our boat that was famous for their sauerkraut pizzas (Cameo's Pizza!)...if you like pizza and sauerkraut give it a try...it's delicious!
