Fun during the 4th!

We had a great 4th of July weekend...stayed pretty busy!  Saturday we went to Grammy and Grandpa's house...Sunday we went up to the lake and had a cookout with Uncle Ron and Aunt Sue...and Monday we celebrated with my family!  It was a VERY hot weekend (90's) to be outside so much and I was a little worried about Crew, but he did great all weekend!
We tried giving him a lemon in Hilton Head and he reacted the same way...NO reaction to biting a lemon...I can't believe this!  He actually acted like he liked it!?!?
Grammy and Crewsie
Feeding himself coconut cake and then taking a sip of water...
then finishing it up with some BBQ chips!  Loves sweet and salty, just like his mommy!
Playing with his blocks before bed time
Playing in the pool at Ron and Sue's house!
Cousin Abby giving Crewsie a hug!
The view from the Vermilion lagoons...very pretty!
Popsie and Crewsie
Crew playing with Grammy Cooper

Giving kisses to the fake birdie!  Such a little lover!
I forgot to post these pics from the park the other day.  We live near a couple schools and it is nice to visit the playgrounds...this night there was a tee-ball game going on so there were other kids to play with Crewsie!  He makes friends fast because he is a little "social butterfly" (as my parents use to say about Uncle Blake!).  This one little boy was very nice and affectionate towards Crew, but Emma played hard to get!
Trying to get Emma's attention...she was ADORABLE!
Hugs...
and kisses...haha!
I like to swing him around...and he likes it too!

Crew's 15 month check-up!

Oh my little ham...Mommy feels the same way every time I have to get weighed at the doctors office...haha!  He was so tiny the first time we sat him in this little seat and now look at him!  He had three shots yesterday...his fourth and final shot for DTAP and Meningitis (I got the DTAP shot last year and I was sore, so I can imagine how my little man feels!).  Crew did great yesterday, but today I can tell he is not himself, a little sore and even running a tiny bit of a fever (99.8).  Hopefully tomorrow he will be feeling better because we have a big weekend planned!

Crewsie weighed:  27 lbs. 2 ozs. (75-90th %)
         height:  32 1/4" (75-90th %)
head circumference:  49 1/2 cm (97%)...this just means he has a big brain and is smart...haha!

We hope everyone has a relaxing and safe 4th of July!
Mommy was bored while we waited for the nurse to come back with the shots so I snapped a few pics...
Love the little butt cheek hanging out!
Daddy and Crewser
Grabbing the mermaids boobie...of course I happened to snap the picture at the perfect time!

LIONS! and TIGERS! and DINOSAURS?!?!

We visited the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo yesterday!  It was a gorgeous day...we have been having beautiful weather lately...it was about 75, sunny, and blue skies...a perfect day to visit the zoo!  We were there all afternoon walking around visiting the different animals!  Crew was pretty observant and seemed to really enjoy himself!  We even stopped at the Honey Hut (ice cream!) on our way home...Crew had some banana ice cream and even ate his baby cone...and ate some of Auntie Tay's ice cream too!  We had a great day with Yaya and Auntie Tay :)
I love the gorillas but this big guy did not want to be bothered!

Crew loved petting the donkey!
As he was running looking at the dinosaurs!
Giddy-up!  The Zoo has a pretty neat exhibit of dinosaurs...you walk in and the Jurassic Park music is playing and they even move around and growl!  Crew just kept staring at them!
He just kept staring at them!
The Zoo also has a great butterfly exhibit called "Flutter!"  You walk into this big greenhouse and there are butterflies everywhere...very neat!
Crew loved watching the seals play!
Notice in a lot of the pics I couldn't get Crew to turn around...he was too busy keeping an eye on the big polar bear!
He thought this was a doggie!
The pics below are from Tuesday...we met Yaya and Auntie Tay and Harley at the park for some play time!
Harley and Crewsie
Harley wanted me to take a picture of the little birdie...she had made a nest above the swings!
