Hilton Head Island 2013 - part 1

We had such a wonderful and relaxing 2 WEEK vacation!  We have never taken 2 weeks before and it was FABULOUS!  I think we are now spoiled!

We had a great time with Uncle Blake, Aunt Casey and Yaya.  We were there for two weeks.  The first week it was just the four if us then the rest if the gang came down the next weekend.

The Skull Creek Boathouse does an amazing brunch (like s'mores french toast with nutella...YUM!) on the weekends and their dinner is walkways delicious!

Hudson's for dinner...my best meal the entire two weeks!

More milestones...

First cereal!  We started Capri in organic brown rice cereal last week a d she seems to like it!  This week we have added in some carrots!

This week she officially found her thumb!  She is a finger suckers but this week it became her thumb!  I don't give my babies pacifiers, so I guess she created her own!  It is so cute to watch her rub her nose and suck her finger at the same time.  Greg and I were both thumb suckers, but Crewsie never showed any interest.

Four month old and four year old stats...

We went to the doc last week, April 23, for our well child visits!

Capri stats 4 months:
Head - 17.25" (90%)
Height - 26.75" (97%)
Weight - 15 lbs. 11 ozs. (50%)
Now when we weighed her at home she was over 16.5 lbs. we think the nurse wrote down the 15 instead of 16?? Because crews weight was the same on our home scale as it was in the docs office.

Crewsie stats 4 years:
Weight - 42.75 lbs. (90%)
Height - 42.5" (90%)

Both checked out great!

I think spring has finally arrived?! We had a gorgeous weekend and even got in our first boat ride of the season!

Never enough time...

I will never EVER get enough of these two. Time will never go slow enough, days never long enough. I want to soak up every moment. I just want to sit and hug and kiss them all day :)

Park time...

Yesterday I promised Crew that we would go to the playground after our dentist appointments (by the way he did great again at the dentist...no cavities!). We grabbed lunch, had a little picnic, and played for awhile. Then we headed to Target for a few things and headed home for some naps! I love simple days like these :)

Happy 4 months Capri!

How is our baby four months old already?! She is such a sweet girl. She is easy going and a great baby. You have found your toes and love reaching for and playing with them! You also love sucking on your fingers! You are my little song bird and love to babble A LOT ( very vocal!). You smile all if the time and you are such a happy girl. I also love to make you giggle, which is easily done. You are sleeping in your crib and the last week you have been sleeping 8-10 hours at night! We love you precious angel!

More milestones...

Capri found her little piggies! She has been trying to reach for her toes for a couple of weeks now and finally got a hold of them yesterday! She was pretty proud of herself :). She is also officially rolling over. We visited a friend yesterday an I had just finished telling her that Capri rolled over once but had not done it again...five minutes later Capri starting rolling all over the place! She rolled from front to back and back to front!
