"Rocky" Horsey...

I thought the first picture was too funny not too post...Daddy was working out in the basement with Crewsie  and Crew insisted on being put in his jumper...Greg called me down to the basement and this is what I found....too cute!

Below, Crewsie is playing with my rocking horse that my Grandpa (aka: Popsie!) made me when we were younger!  It was actually at my other Grandma's house and we finally remembered to bring it home!  At first he was hesitant to ride it, but now he LOVES it!!!  And I mean he LOVES it!!!  Yesterday  he couldn't get enough of it...kept wanting to climb up on it and cried when I would make him get off of Rocky!

Take your son to work day!?!?

Every once in a while Daddy will still be at home when Crewsie wakes up in the morning...on these days it is hard for Daddy to get out the door!  For two reasons:  1. Crew won't let him leave (he keeps running up to him grabbing at him to pick him up!) and 2.  Daddy doesn't want to leave!  Greg will say...I'm sure they wouldn't mind if I brought him in today!  hahaha...I can only imagine how funny that would be!  I took this today as Greg was leaving and neither one of them would let go of each other...therefore, Daddy was taking calls while holding the little man...and Mommy was cracking up!  I love that they love each other so much!

In other Crewsie news:  We started Crew in Tumblebee's this week...he will go every Tuesday morning for a six week session.  This class is at a local gym in town and five minutes away...it is a "Gymboree" type class (the closest Gymboree is 45 minutes away from us, so this works better!) It is a Mommy/Child class and it was really fun...a great experience for Crew!

Also, I signed Crew up for the "Mother Goose" program at our library!  This Mommy/Child class is every Wednesday morning for a couple of months...we are very excited for this class too...it starts in a couple of weeks!  I'm so happy I was able to find some fun activities to do this Fall/Winter!  Hopefully, we will start swim lessons again this Fall too!  Crew and I needed some stuff to do since Yaya and Auntie Tatie went back to school...although, we want to visit Auntie Tatie's second grade class!

My little "reader"...

I LOVE that Crew is soooo into books...he would much rather read then play with his other toys!  I think that books and his building blocks are definitely his two favorite items to play with!  He of course loves when Mommy or Daddy read to him, but within the last few weeks he will even "read" to himself!  He sits in his rocker or on the couch and goes through the pages...it is so adorable to watch!

Hot! - Mommy has tried to teach him what this means and now he knows and says it!  I always say this when he is around the stove and I'm cooking and when the water is running and may be hot and around lights and other possibly dangerous things!  So now he says it all of the time...ha!

Love you - my parents swear they heard him say this!?  I thought I have heard him say it before...but not consistently yet!

Birthday Party!

A couple weeks ago we went to cousin Andrew's third birthday party!  Crew had a great time playing with all the other kiddos and especially enjoyed spending time with cousin Abby!  She is like a little Mommy and she is soooo good with Crew!  As you can see by the pictures below, he loved laying on her and giving her lots of hugs!

We were out shopping the other day and of course Crewsie came home with a few new things...haha!  I just can't help myself when we start looking at all the cute clothes and shoes!  Mommy and Yaya bought Crewsie a couple new pairs of shoes for this Fall/Winter...We tried them on him at the store, but we would get them on him and he would take off running, so I was trying them on again at home just to double check that they fit right and he was walking properly!  He is currently wearing a size 7 shoe, so we bought size 8 to be safe...I can't believe how big (and chubby) his little feet are!!!

These are probably some of our last days at the pool :(  but honestly, Mommy is ready for Autumn!  It is my most favorite time of year (from September thru December!)...I love the weather, the way the air feels, wearing "cuddly" clothes, and of course the beautiful changing leaves!  It always reminds me of back to school time...which I always loved!

One of Crew's favorite new things is driving...but don't worry, we haven't handed over the keys!  He LOVES getting into our cars and playing around with all the buttons and levers!  So of course Popa allowed Crew to jump in his car and take it for a ride!  The lights were flashing, windshield wipers going full speed, and the air conditioning was blowing!  When it is time to take him out of the cars he is not a happy camper!

In other Crew news:  his top two canine teeth have broken through!  The bottom canines are almost through, so that will make a total of 16 teeth...hopefully that is all for a while...I think the only ones left are the second year molars!

Visit with Grandparents...

August 3rd was my Popsie Cooper's 78th birthday!  Yaya, Auntie Tay, Crew, and I all went to celebrate with Pops and Gram.  Unfortunately, Popsie was diagnosed with lung cancer in June and has been in the hospital the last week.  We are optomistic and he is making improvements everyday.  Hopefully he will be home sometime next week.  Please keep Pops and Gram in your prayers.  We LOVE you guys!!!

While we were in Sebring we also visited Gram Fisher, Grammy Pearl and Papa George...what a wonderful visit!
